A blistering performance from the reds today, hammering a deflated Arsenal 4-0 in what was in truth a fairly comfortable affair.

Goals from the mighty front 3 and even Sturridge got in on the goals too late on. As good as the forward line was the real hero has to be Emre Can. Yet again he has shown the world he is becoming one of Europe’s finest in his position and questions have to be asked about his supposedly new contract. Without doubt the best player on the pitch today.

The only worry was Loris Karius. He hadn’t got anything to do today but while on the ball you can’t help but cover your eyes cause you don’t know what he is capable of doing. He’s been giving a shot but I still don’t feel he is ready for the Premier League. Danny Ward for me would be a bigger test for Simon Mignolets number 1 spot.

Finally the transfer window is coming to a close and after the game today Sky’s Kaveh Solhekol announced Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munichs Renato Sanches which would be a huge coup for Liverpool and end any interest in Arsenal’s Oxlade Chamberlain. Transfer business isn’t over at Melwood just yet.
